Our advice on Day 7 is pretty self-evident. Running is more fun when you do it with somebody you like. So, if you can have a running partner, I've found that's much more important than having a good coach. If there's someone you can run with, whether it's a brother or sister, a parent, or a friend, try and train with them. You're going to find that the training goes a lot better.

Today's stretching and strength exercises are active, they're walking.

We're going to begin with a walking "A" march. Try to keep a good upright posture, and walk forward with a high knee, and toe pointed up. Knee-up toe-up is a great running idea, and this march helps reinforce it.

Continuing with the walking stretches, we're going to walk another 15-20 meters alternating an ankle-pull and a knee-hug. Switch legs on the way back!

We're nearing the end of our aerobic capacity preparation! Day 7 will be, again, 15 to 20 minutes of running. You're going to be tempted to sneak the time up, but be patient and stay consistent. Have a great run - see you on Day 8!
